Baby It's Cold Outside!

Hello all! This month has been a great start to the new year. Along with everyone we're getting through a true Iowa winter with snow, ice, freezing rain and fog. Working in the emergency room throughout all the winter storms has been interesting - I've filled and sent out LOTS of liability forms this month for falls on the ice! :) Walk slowly out there everyone! About a week ago we were finally able to have our Anderson Christmas! Everyone was able to get together and we had a great time - even though we opened gifts without a tree and sometimes had a hard time remembering exactly what we'd wrapped so many days ago! :) There was lots of good food and good memories made and as always we were thrilled to play with our niece and nephew! Along with Christmas, the girls got to have day out to see The Lion King. It was amazing! The costumes, music and creativity blew us all away! I would recommend it to everyone! We all decided that the girls' day is something that definitely needs to happen annually or even better, semi-annually. On a different note, we've started the home buying process. And as of now we are really just starting, haven't done any serious looking yet. But we are excited to get the process going and see what is available for us. This is something we'll be sure to keep everyone updated on. Other than that our days are pretty routine...working, working, working, going to lots of basketball games with my cheerleaders and watching the weekends go by way too quickly. There are only about three more weeks of basketball games and then the cheerleading season will wind down a little-even though it's never truly over! Coaching has been such a fun experience and I'm looking forward to continuing it and being a part of it from the beginning of the season next year. 'Til next time-stay warm and safe everyone! :)
