We Love A Good Wedding!

I realize that most of our blog posts are about our weekend excursions-but let me tell you-it's because we don't do a single exciting thing throughout the week :p  We follow a pretty similar routine each day and spend our evenings making dinner, watching a favorite show or two, reading, walking Belle and just relaxing!  When the weekend rolls around we're ready to get out and about!  So this past weekend here's what we were up to:
Friday night we had a little shopping/date night.  Not really fun shopping though; more like errand running.  And we went out for Mexican at El Rodeo-yum yum!!
Saturday we went to Heather and Jessy's wedding here in Indianola.  We had such a fun time and danced our socks off!  My legs were sore on Sunday from dancing in my heels!  The food was great, the cake was great and it was fun catching up with friends.  When the reception wound down we decided we weren't ready to call it a night and headed out to The Zoo. Kyle had never been there before so we had to show it off to him (haha!)  We called Mike to meet us and while we were out we heard the sad, sad news about Whitney Houston.  We toasted to Whitney and reminisced about all our favorite Whitney Houston songs-maybe even sang a few ;)

On Sunday I headed off to teach Sunday School-rather sleepily but I only had 2 kiddos so it worked out perfectly, then we made brunch and took a good nap!  Kyle played intramural basketball with Mike and Dad and then we went to my parents' house for dinner.  Overall we had a really great week last week!
